This
was a new 600,000 SF shopping center with New Urbanist themes. This was
one of the few projects where I not only planned a shopping center and
guided it through the approval process, but where I also developed the
architectural guidelines. I designed the retail pad buildings, as well
as the exterior of anchor stores such as Target. The center was
laid out with intentional local street penetrations of the center, with
buildings with street-level scale, where retailers serving the adjoining
residential developments could operate. Responsibilities:
Architect, Primary Architectural Designer.
