Located in the exclusive Washington DC suburb of Potomac, this Giant Food store had to break from the common supermarket prototype. It was designed with the most extensive graphics package, and a dramatic 2000 SF skylight over the produce department. Unable to light this area from above, custom light fixtures were mounted to the casework, enhancing the uniqueness of the area. The remainder of the store, though, was constrained by a 10' maximum ceiling height. This was relieved by the use of coffers, which support the perception of added height.  Responsibilities: Interior Designer and Lighting Designer.
